Douglas Middle School students participated in the Central Wyoming Junior Regional Science Fair at Verda James Elementary in Casper on Saturday, February 4th, 2012.
Of the 48 students participating in the Douglas Middle School science fair, sixteen students qualified for and competed at the Central region junior science fair in Casper on Feb. 4th.
Of those students, twelve students have qualified to go to State Science Fair in Laramie in March. Placing first in their category were Jacob Cropper in energy, Jacy Busboom in environmental science, Spencer Romberg in physics, Haley George in medicine & health and Teya Hineman and Carson Black in animal science. Placing second in their categories were Cassi Cole, Danica Shearer, Samantha Woolsey, Kelsi Gamble and Emily Roessing. Genesis Schell placed third.
Also representing DMS at the regional science fair were Keinan Woirhaye, Shane Schell, and Trey Pearson.
