Welcome!

Welcome to Douglas Intermediate School!

The holiday season will soon be a memory for another year.  I hope you have some fond recollections of the season to carry with you all year.

I can’t believe we are almost through the first half of the school year.   Although parent teacher conferences are not scheduled until March, if you have questions or concerns about your child’s progress at the end of the first semester, please do not hesitate to contact your child’s teacher.  Our teachers are always available to answer your questions.

As Old Man Winter settles in, please remember to send your child to school dressed appropriately; hats, coats, gloves, boots, and snow pants.  We will keep the children in the building if the temperature and wind give us a wind chill of 10 degrees or below.  If the temperature is above 10 degrees, students will be outside for recess; they need it.
